Privacy Policy

Simulation Premier League ("SPL", "we", "us") is an online football manager simulation game available at www.simulationpremierleague.com and through our iOS and Android apps. This policy explains what information we collect, why we collect it, and the choices you have.

We collect only what the game needs to work:

• Account details — your email address, username, and a hashed password. We never store your password in readable form.
• Profile information you choose to add — a bio, a profile picture, and an optionally linked Discord identity.
• Game data — your players, clubs, contracts, transfers, match history, and in-game balances.
• Content you create — posts, replies, direct messages, and community activity on the SPL social network.
• Device push tokens — if you enable push notifications in our mobile app, we store the notification token issued for your device and its platform (iOS or Android) so we can deliver the notifications you have turned on.
• Technical logs — standard request logs (such as IP address and timestamps) used for security, abuse prevention, and keeping the service running.

We do not collect precise location, contacts, health data, or advertising identifiers, and we do not use third-party advertising or tracking SDKs.

• To operate your account and the game world (matches, transfers, standings, and the social network).
• To deliver notifications you have explicitly enabled — every push notification type is off by default.
• To keep the league fair and safe: moderation, anti-abuse, and enforcement of our Terms & Conditions.
• To respond when you contact us for support.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.

We share data only with the services required to run SPL:

• Hosting and infrastructure providers that run our servers and database.
• Expo's push notification service, which relays notifications to Apple and Google so they reach your device.
• Discord, only if you choose to link your Discord account — the link is optional and can be removed at any time in Settings.
• Authorities, if required by law or to protect the safety of our users.

Content you publish in the game (your username, profile, posts, match results) is visible to other players — that is the point of a shared league.

We keep your information for as long as your account exists. League records (match results, transfers, trophies) are part of the shared game world and are kept for the integrity of every player’s history; when an account is deleted they are anonymised rather than rewritten.

You can delete your account at any time from Settings → Delete account, on the website or inside the app. Your account is disabled immediately and your account and personal data are permanently deleted within 30 days. Push notification tokens are deactivated at the moment you request deletion.

• Update your username, bio, picture, email, and password in Settings.
• Turn each push notification type on or off in App Settings — everything starts off.
• Unlink Discord at any time.
• Request a copy of your data, or its deletion, by contacting us.
• Depending on where you live (for example the EU/EEA or UK), you may have additional statutory rights such as access, rectification, and erasure. We honour these for all users.

SPL includes social features and is not directed at children under 13. Do not create an account if you are under 13 (or the higher minimum age required in your country). If we learn an account belongs to a child below the required age, we will delete it.

All traffic to SPL is encrypted with HTTPS. Passwords are stored hashed, access to production data is restricted, and API access uses revocable tokens. No online service can promise perfect security, but we treat your data as if it were our own save file.

If we make material changes, we will update the date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, notify you in the app before the changes take effect.
